The Portrait Studio
Vancouver Black & White Photobooth

Black & White Portraits Your Guests
Will Not Stop Talking about

We show up at your wedding in Vancouver, Burnaby or anywhere across the Lower Mainland with a real studio setup and two people who actually love doing this. Terence directs the shot, Tiffany makes sure your grandma, your loud uncle, and everyone in between feels comfortable enough to look like themselves. No posed, stiff, forced smiles. Just real moments in black and white, the kind you'll actually keep and look at for years.

we match best with

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes your portrait experience different?

Your guests are guided by a professional photographer and refined studio lighting to ensure they look their best, receiving both physical prints and a digital gallery to transform their favorite moments into lasting home displays.

How much space do you need?

We recommend allotting 15x15 feet of space away from any loudspeakers and close to a power outlet.

How many hours of coverage do you recommend?

We suggest an average of 1 hour for every 100 guests. You may also choose to extend your coverage at an additional $450 per hour.

What is your setup process?

We will arrive about 1 hour prior to the start time to set up.

How many people can you fit in the backdrop?

Our backdrop is 9ft wide and we can comfortably fit up to 10 people by layering the group in front of the backdrop.

How long does it take to receive the digital gallery?

Please allow up to three days for the gallery to be delivered to you and your guests.

What is the Message Station?

In addition to the prints your guests take home, we produce a second copy for your friends and colleagues to leave handwritten messages alongside their photographs - transforming a classic print into a curated collection of well wishes. The result is a memento set that captures presence of those who shared it with you.

What is the Digital Colorization?

We convert all the digital images taken at your event to color so you have a copy of both versions. Images are professionally edited on a color calibrated monitor after your event and also includes minor teeth whitening of all applicable images taken at your event.
